Coil Exempt Foucault

                                          Introduction

The present invention relates to a coil core which also uses the Foucault current

01

The eddy currents are caused by the movement (or variation) of the magnetic field that passes through a conductor. The relative motion generates the circulation of electrons, ie current, in the conductor. These electrons, moving in vortexes, generate in turn a magnetic field in the opposite direction to the variation of the applied magnetic field.

02
The current that develops in the conductor has a whirling shape because the electrons are subject to the Lorentz force which is perpendicular to the direction of the moving electrons themselves. Thus, they rotate to their right, or left, depending on the direction of the applied field and the variation of the field increasing or decreasing. The resistivity of the conductor dampens these currents.

03
Eddy currents generate energy losses by heating the conductor (Joule effect). This phenomenon in many applications is negative because this heat production has no useful effect. For example, in TRANSFORMERS and ELECTRIC MOTORS determines a decrease in efficiency. Since the ferromagnetic support is a conductive material, f.e.m. induced produce currents that circulate within the support which dissipate power. Since the dissipated power depends on the square of the current circulating in the support, these losses are linearly proportional to the square of the frequency with which the magnetic field varies (ie the square of the current circulating in the inductor in the inductor.

04
In electrical machines, additional losses increase with power and current. In transformers, they range from about 5% to 30% of the main ones; in synchronous machines with salient poles they can reach 50%, while in those with smooth poles (turboalternators) they can exceed the main ones and reach 200%. Since in power and asynchronous machines no powers of the order of those of synchronous machines are reached, the additional losses are generally lower: their accurate determination is often extremely difficult.

05
It is possible to attenuate but not eliminate these losses by choosing a magnetic core which has a low conductivity (for example: ferrite, silicon steel) or by subdividing the magnetic core into thin layers, electrically insulated (lamination). In this way the electrons can not cross the insulating layer between the laminations and the area enclosed by their path is reduced.

06

The free eddy core does not attenuate and does not eliminate the parasitic current, but incorporates it with that produced by the coil.
The free eddy coil collects the parasitic current of the core, increasing the yield of the coil itself,
By canceling the joule effect, it makes electric motors and in general all electric machines more effective.

The invention is patent pending, the coil produces between 20% and 30% more energy than a similar one, eliminating the joule effect makes all electric machines more effective.

The technical data relating to the construction of the coil, at the moment are not yet disclosed.

The participation of companies in the sector is welcome for a possible exclusive construction and marketing.
